Cognizance is the first release from Hull based Melodic/Thrash Death metal band, Underkript. The EP is a set of recordings of the first initial ideas that the band wrote together at their first semester at University.

Cognizance progressively combines a range of influences from each member of the band, ranging from Classical, to Jazz, 'Djent' and Drum and Bass while all the time retaining the sound of British Thrash that bands like Sylosis and Evile have made such an impression with.

With thunderous riffs, blistering drums and emotive, yet extremely angry, vocals; Cognizance lays out the bands foundations musically and showcases the band's musical integrity.
