Underkript's third album sees Josh and Matt move the band away from the more progressive style explored in 'Parables'. 'Fables' returns to the band's roots, such as the music heard on their first EP 'Cognizance', to incorporate influences from hardcore and metalcore, focusing on crushing riffs and speed. Matt brings his 9 string guitar to the table, along with Josh's fretless bass, utilising a double drop B tuning to take the music to places it hasn't gone before.
